- TRUE 10GbE FOR YOUR PC OR SERVER: Add a 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T) port through a standard PCIe slot ? perfect for fast NAS access, backups, and high-throughput workstations. Backward compatible with 5GbE, 2.5GbE, 1GbE, and 100Mbps. Use CAT6a (or better) for full 10G. - OVERSIZED ALUMINUM HEATSINK ? NO THERMAL THROTTLING: A heavier, full-size heatsink keeps the Marvell AQC113 controller cool during sustained 10G transfers ? avoiding the intermittent disconnects common on thin, lightly-cooled cards. Built for 24/7 reliability. - FITS x4 / x8 / x16 SLOTS · FULL-HEIGHT ONLY: PCIe 3.0 x4 card that drops into any x4, x8, or x16 slot of any generation. Ships with a FULL-HEIGHT bracket only ? it is NOT designed for low-profile / small-form-factor (SFF) cases. Please confirm you have a standard-height slot. - BROAD OS & NAS SUPPORT ? DRIVER SETUP: Download the free Marvell AQC113 driver (Windows / Linux) from Marvell's or Sabrent's site before use. Works with Windows, Linux, Unraid, QNAP, and Proxmox. Note: Synology DSM 7.2+ no longer bundles AQC113 support. - AT-A-GLANCE STATUS LEDs: Built-in LEDs show your link at a glance ? green = 10GbE, red = 5G/2.5G/1G/100M, blue = activity. Rugged aluminum construction for consistent performance under load.

Which PCIe slots does it fit ? and does it work in a low-profile case?

PCIe 3.0 x4 card ? fits any x4, x8, or x16 slot. Full-height bracket only; not for low-profile / SFF cases (no LP bracket included). Confirm your case takes full-height cards before ordering.

Can it run at 2.5GbE or 1GbE, and what cable do I need?

Yes ? auto-negotiates 5G / 2.5G / 1G / 100M for current and older networks. For the full 10GbE, use 10G network gear and a CAT6a (or better) cable.

Does the card require drivers?

Yes ? install the free Marvell AQC113 driver (Windows/Linux) from Marvell or Sabrent.com before use. Also works on Unraid, QNAP, and Proxmox. Note: Synology DSM 7.2+ no longer bundles AQC113 support.

Is it suitable for servers or workstations under sustained load?

Yes. The oversized aluminum heatsink keeps the controller cool during long, heavy transfers, avoiding the thermal disconnects common on thin, lightly-cooled 10G cards. Built for 24/7 use.

How do I monitor the connection status?

Status LEDs show your link: green = 10GbE, red = 5G/2.5G/1G/100M, and blue = data activity.
