Does the CH420 support AI auto-tracking?

Yes, it features Single-Target AI Tracking. Simply press F3 on the remote to enable and F4 to disable AI.

How do I find the camera's IP address?

Connect via HDMI and use the remote: Menu > Setup > IP Addr.

Does this camera support PoE? Why isn’t my PoE injector working?

Yes, the camera supports 802.3af PoE.

Some standalone PoE injectors are not compatible or cannot provide stable power.

We recommend using a standard PoE switch (e.g., TP-Link) instead.

Does the camera support video recording?

Yes, via SD/TF card (not included).

1. Format your card (FAT32 for ≤32GB; exFAT for ≥64GB).

2. Insert the card into the camera.

3. Go to Menu > Setup > TF Rec to toggle recording.

(Press F2 on the remote for quick audio/recording settings.)

Can I record videos to the SD card while using USB 3.0?

Local recording is dedicated to HDMI and Ethernet (IP) modes. Connecting a USB 3.0 cable will automatically prioritize PC streaming and disable SD recording. To resume local recording, simply disconnect the USB cable and restart the camera.
