Is this a hot-swappable keyboard? Can I use my own magnetic switch?
Yes. ROG Azoth 96 HE is hot-swappable and supports magnetic switches, specifically the ROG HFX V2/V2X and third-party TTC Golden Switch. These magnetic switches can also be shared across compatible ROG HE keyboards (see last FAQ below).
How to customize the feel of the keyboard?
You can customize the typing feel by swapping any of the six dampening layers.. The PORON, IXPE, and silicone layers serve to reduce vibration and switch pinging, while the underlying foam can be changed to make the gasket feel softer or firmer.
What does Rapid Trigger do?
Rapid Trigger allows the key to reset instantly as you release it, instead of waiting for a fixed reset point. This enables faster repeated inputs and more precise movement, especially for actions like counter-strafing, with less effort and delay.
What is Gear Link?
Gear Link is ASUS ROG’s web-based configuration tool that lets you customize your keyboard settings directly in your browser with no software install. All new 2026 ROG devices are compatible with Gear Link.
